Regarding capturing product details in Instamojo records

  • Hi,

    I have integrated Instamojo plugin with woocommerce for my website. The payment are working fine. I thank you for creating this plugin.

    I need your help in one aspect. Whenever any transaction happens through woocommerce, then Instamojo by default assigns it as payment to “Instapay” in its record. Is there any code/setting/patch, which can make instamojo record the transaction by the name of the product for which the payment has been received instead of default “Instapay”?

    Other woocommerce payment gateway plugins like “PayPal” capture the product details in its records. Presence of product name in the records of payment gateway account helps us in a lot of ways like doing accounting, search

    Hi drvijaymalik,

    This is not a plugin specific issue, more of an API decision. Our product team is already aware of the issue, until they come up with a conclusion this is going to stay as is. Unfortunately there’s no ETA on this.
