  • Hey vernal,

That is strange I’m not able to reproduce that one. Try to delete the plugin and re-install it… Are you on the latest version of WP?

I’m on the latest wp and duplicator. It’s odd.

I just played around with it a bit more and found this:
The production site is hosted on wpengine.com.. which uses some pretty aggressive cacheing.
I made a staging instance of the site (still on wpengine… using their staging feature) and tried there. It worked.

So all in all my workaround is to make a staging instance (which is super easy) and then run duplicator from there.

I’m not sure if it is something you want to work out with wpengine or not… for now I’m ok though. Thanks a lot for your reply.

Actually now that I recall that happened to me quite awhile back. The plugin that was causing troubles for me was the W3C total cache plugin. When I disabled the “Object Cache” the issue when away.

Ah yes. Wpengine does give you the option to disable the object/transient cache. I tried that and it’s working now. Thanks!

Cool, thanks for posting your solution…
