Refunds for faulty products?

Does WordPress offer help for people who have purchased a theme and are having difficulties with the developer?
I bought a theme and had trouble getting the demo to work on my site. The only time ever, I haven’t been able to get a demo to work. The developer is insisting on getting access to my site to install the plugin, which I refuse to give, and all I want is a refund (product too much hassle to get working) and he refuses to acknowledge or respond to the request, just repeatedly demands access to my site?One expects WordPress to promote reputable people not con artists.
