    I’m not sure if this is broken or I just don’t understand it, but it doesn’t work the way that I would expect. In the reports screen, the total for refunded items doesn’t appear, either in the period when the refund was issued or when the order was placed. It will always say 0 dollars and 0 orders, but does report the number of refunded items in parentheses. For example, I am looking at a report now that says “$0.00 refunded 0 orders (371 items)”. It seems like it should show a total for those 371 items. Instead, to find out how much I have refunded, I have to pull up each order. These are not orders in Refunded status, but Completed orders in which one or more items was refunded. I’m not sure that makes a difference. Seems like a bug. Is it?

    Does anyone else experience this problem? It would be helpful to know if this is unique to my site.

    @billcv The reports are sales reports, so since the refunds negate the sales, their values are removed from the amounts that are sold. If the same number of refunds happened in a period as sales, then the amount would be 0.
