    Hi team,

    My system build like that every order include 2 items – (1) the actual item bought from the seller, and (2) the shipping item.
    The commission for item (1) is 20%, and the commission for item (2) is 100% – sellers don’t earn anything from paid buyer shipping fee.

    How’s the refund tool is going to work in this case?

    For example:
    Buyer bought an item for $50, and paid another $10 for shipping. Total $60.
    The vendor gets $40 (80%*$50 + 0%*$10).
    If I refund $10 from the order, what will be the end result?

    FYI – we config the “Shipping Fee Recipient” to “Admin”.

    Is there an option to refund only the shipping fee?

    If you refund $10 from the order then total refund amount will be $20 ( integrating $10 shipping) As you are saying that the vendor didn’t receive the shipping payment so this extra $10 will be deducted from admin. After the refund now admin will have 20%$40 and vendor will have 80%$40 left with. Admin will have to pay extra $10 as he is getting the shipping amount from the order. I hope you got the point.

    I’m not sure I’m following.
    In case I refund $10 from the original $50 order, why the “total refund amount will be $20”? Basically – what I want to do is to refund the shipping – means that the buyer will get $10 back, and those $10 wouldn’t be taken from vendor, but from us – the admin.

    The refund process can be confusing. Let’s clear it up.

    First, I am unsure about your shipping fee management. Are you using a separate product as your shipping price? In that case, the operation will be different.

    If you are using the regular shipping and the shipping price is set to go to the Admin then any changes on that shipping fee will reflect on the admin’s earning.

    Also, in Dokan Lite vendors are unable to initiate a refund. From WooCommerce’s order details you can send a refund for either product amount or from shipping amount – https://prnt.sc/y6a8g3.
