    Hello,

do I understand this right …
    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/issues/1242

… that WooCommerce or the PayPal Payments plugin should automatically send an email to the admin, when a refund happens?

We don’t get any refund emails and I can only find an option in the WooCommerce email settings for refund email for customers, which is deactivated with intent.

Is there a way to get this activated?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello @apfelbiss,

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

Please read the entire GitHub thread, the answer is already there. These emails are generated by WooCommerce though, and PayPal Payments does not directly interact with the emails for refunds. The reported behavior is may originate in the old PayPal Standard integration instead of PayPal Payments. This was established because it was triggered by class-wc-gateway-paypal-ipn-handler.php and this is not used in our plugin, but by its predecessor.

If you see any other causes for this to occur, please let us know, but our plugin should not trigger such emails to be sent.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

Thank you for the clarification, I had not understood that so clearly in the linked thread, possibly due to my limited English skills.
