Hey @noellovewell,
Thank you for reaching out! The quick answer is yes and no.
Technically, when a new referred order comes in a commission with the status “pending” is created. Once the order is completed (paid), the linked commission’s status is updated to “unpaid”.
At this point, the refund grace period feature comes in. This is a period of X days that you can set up in which a commission is considered approved, but on-hold. The status will remain “unpaid”, but the commission will not be included in a payout until the X days refund period passes.
Then, when you process the payout, the commission’s status will be updated to “paid”. While the commission is unpaid, if you change the linked order’s status to “refunded”, the commission’s status will be updated to “rejected” (for this to work, you will need to enable the “Reject Commissions on Refund” option from SliceWP > Settings > General > Commissions Settings).
However, once you pay a commission, you cannot return the amount that you’ve paid out to your affiliate.
As for mass paying affiliates, yes, PayPal Payouts is the only system that we integrate with. You can however download a CSV file with the due affiliate payments which you can upload in any mass pay service that supports this feature, to pay affiliates in bulk.
Thank you and best wishes,
Mihai
