Refreshing page or post won’t show admin bar

    Hey guys, I did a search and did not find anything dealing with this, Perhaps I just did not use the right words.

    I switched to this plugin a couple days ago, free version so far, and detected a problem.

    When I try to edit a page or post that has been posted for a period of time, the admin bar WILL NOT appear until I purge button in the admin area.

    I can then go back to the page or post in question, hit refresh, and then the admin bar will appear.

    If you hit preview, the admin bar is there. If you publish and then view the page, the admin bar is gone!

    Is this a glitch or do I have something set improperly?

  • Hi Jon,

    By the sounds of it, you enabled the setting “Serve cached pages to logged in users”.

    If you edit your site by accessing pages from the front-end, you’ll probably want to disable that.
