Refresh to gallery position and image resize

  • I’m having issues with my my Next Gen Gallery refreshing to the gallery position. When you click the next button to go to the next image (Image Browser Configuration) it refreshes to the top of the page and doesn’t change the url structure so that the gallery images can count as a pageview. The next issue is that my images won’t resize correctly. I’ve set the proper setting in the gallery and option area but my images are getting stretched. Any idea as to what is going on? I’ve tried and old version of the plugin and also the latest version….

    @ayannab – In order for the ImageBrowser navigation not to “refresh to the top of the page” you should turn on Ajax Pagination for the display. You may need to refresh the page and/or clear the image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous to see this take effect immediately.

    As to the image resizing issue, how are you trying to resize the images or where are you expecting them to be resizing and not seeing the results you expect?

    Last question…

    I’d like a unique url for each image once the next or previous button is clicked to go to the next image. It does this when I choose the imagebrowser-caption.php template but then the gallery positioning switches back to the top of the page. Is there anyway to have the two work at the same time?

    @ayannab – That would make for a great Feature Request item as unfortunately at the moment if you want to use a unique URL you will have to not use Ajax Pagination.
