I’ve uploaded the unpacked Refresh! theme on two wordpress sites now and see the same thing…

The graphic around the date (that makes it look so nice) is missing. Plus the header menu boxes on the sidebar are not curved on the top corners (as per the thumbnail).

    Why would that be?

The theme I have running live, doesn’t look like the thumbnail in theme editor.

    Thanks

  • try to upload this again, be sure that all files in the picture/image folder are in and refresh your browser window.

pictures normaly dont need to be changed with the chmod on the server. i think they are in generall missing.

to be sure and do this right, also try to download this file again and start the same procedure again. normaly it helps. good luck

    Hey there…

Did as you suggested… even grabbed a brand-new download, unpacked, checked out all the pics (still didn’t see one for the little frame around the date!), but renamed the ‘sidebar-header-bak’ to ‘sidebar-header’ and got my curved header-box tops in the sidebar, like I wanted.

Still want to know where the date graphic is or how that is accomplished.

Can you have a look at that piece, it just doesn’t appear to be in the package!

    Thanks,
    B

all important things that youre searching for can be found in your style.css

search for the “.date ” entrys. but i cant see actually those frames you wrote about. so i surfed to the authors page and test-theme, and there too the same, i cant see them

Well, I see that on the Refresh! author’s site there is a reference to a 3-column version of Refresh!. I would like to know where I can download that. It doesn’t show up in the theme viewer and I can’t download anything off of Beng’s site.

(Perhaps that has the date graphic I am looking for).
    Thoughts?
