I have Wise Chat Pro installed on a website using the ONAIR2 WordPress theme. When users go to the page for the first time they are greeted with “Loading the chat” but the chat does not load until they refresh the page. Once the page is refreshed, Wise Chat appears to work normally and without error. I have inspected the page’s elements and looked at the Network tab. The only non 200 code is on ?page_id=3863 which reports the 304 code. I have only moderate skills/understanding to work out what is the cause of the initial error. Can you help?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Think I have cracked it, or at least know the cause. It would appear that Wise Chat is not compatible with the Jax Pageloader used by the theme I’m using to maintain my radio player when users move between the pages on my site. Fortunately I can disable the pageloader on the Wise Chat page and when I do, bingo, the “Loading Chat” problem is solved. Of course the player then stops when users navigate to other pages on my sit. I guess that’s not a deal-breaker, but it would be good to know of any other solution (if there is one) to avoid this problem.

Any idea on what would cause other people not to see my responses to their chat or me to see what they type? doesnt happen all the time but now and then it does clear it self up but its an on going problem im having..

    Hello,

Please take a look at this guide on messages delivery issues:

Usually a third-party plugin blocks the communication.

    Best regards
