• On my site I have several down links with catchpa.

My contact form is contact form 7. But when form is submitted the catchpa does not refresh.

    They said to me:

reCAPTCHA widgets are supposed to refresh after a form submission. It seems that the simple-download-monitor plugin is conflicting. Try deactivating it.

So can you please look at that as I want both plugins.

    Hi,

My contact form is contact form 7. But when form is submitted the catchpa does not refresh.

Are you saying that you enable Contact Form 7 reCAPTCHA feature, but this reCAPTCHA does not refresh because it is conflicting with our reCAPTCHA. Is this correct?

I am not sure what you mean by “Refresh Captcha”. I have the contact form 7 plugin with captcha and the simple download monitor plugin with captcha on a site. Both of them works fine for me.

What you need to do is fill the form.
    Then do the catchpa.
    Submit the form.

For me, the catchpa doesn’t reset. It should once a form has been submitted.

Hi @ajtruckle, do you have a cache plugin installed? If you do, have you excluded your contact form page from being cached?

    How do I check? I wouldn’t know.

    I didn’t knowingly install one.

Hi, can you check to see if you have a cache plugins installed in your site. This is located under Plugins in admin.

    Let me know.

    Thank you

I have looked. None of my plugins do cache.

Hi, what about your server? Some host add cache functionality to servers to improve speed and performance.

Also do you use CDN services for your site?

    Kind regards

I don’t know for either of those. I will ask them next week. But you can talk with other plugin author. You need a common resolution.

For cache my domain documents state:

Tip: We already have cache activated on your web space, so technically a plugin for this is unnecessary. If your WordPress site is slow, please contact our chat support so we can help you find out what is causing it.

Hi, perhaps you can ask your host to look into this issue. They might find a solution.

Let us know what they say.

    Kind regards

    Hi

I asked our host. They have no answer on this. All I know is that if your plugin is deactivated, then Contact Form 7 plugin will correctly reset the reCatchpa on it’s form after the user presses the Submit button.

But if I have your plugin activated, then Contact Form 7 doesn’t do this.

I was hoping that you could talk with the Contact Form 7 plugin author just to see if there was anything that you could do in your plugin so that it didn’t have side effects for other plugins that use reCatchpas.

    Andrew
