Refresh current page upon add-to-cart

I would like to refresh the page I am on when I add an item to cart (due to problems with plug-in compatibility with sidebar-cart).

How can I go about doing this, add some function that is called after adding to cart? No idea how to tackle the problem and appreciate any help!
