Refresh countdown for the entire cart

  • Hi,

    thank you for this great plugin. Some of my customers are very happy with your plugin and I would like to forward a feature request from them.

    If you add more products to the cart, then the countdown still counts for each product individually. But it would be more practical if the countdown is reset and restarted for all products in the cart.

    What do you think?

    I’ve added an issue on github to track this, I don’t know when I’ll have a chance to dig into it more.

    I think this would work for some stores but not all, my biggest fear is that a malicious user could tie up all of the products by just adding/removing random products from the cart which would refresh the expiration time for the item they are trying to lock up.

    I can only speak for my clients: many customers are rather annoyed when they see that not everything is included anymore when they order.

    Hello,

    I just added this to the development version (I’ll push out a new release soon). Now there are settings to refresh all cart items expiration when adding items, loading cart, loading checkout, or loading checkout pay page.

    It defaults to the existing behavior, so these have to be explicitly enabled.
