Refresh button doesnt appear in wordpress v5

Hi the post hit counter plugin doesnt seem to be compatible with wordpress v5.0.3.
There used to be a refresh button on post edit page but it no longer shows up.
Is anyone else aware of this and are there any plans to find a solution.

The plugin was very useful and i really appreciated using it in the past.

I use the duplicate page plugin which means a new post never has a zero hit count.
