I set redirect after login to ‘Refresh Active Page’ option, to ensure users are redirected to the exact page they were on before logging in.

But this is not happening. Rather its redirecting to the default login page. How do I achieve this with the UM plugin. Anyone has an idea?

    Appreciate in advance.

    Hi @glvd656,

Can you please add more details on where you change the Redirection after login?

    Thanks.

Hi, thank you for your response.

I believe ‘Refresh Active Page’ is meant to return visitors to the last page they were on before login. Please confirm, as this is what we seek to achieve using the ‘Refresh Active Page’. If not what does ‘Refresh Active Page’ in the plugin delivers and hwo can we return visitors to the last page page before login.

Also login redirect and logout redirect are not redirecting to the links we updated. Rather login redirects to my accounts and logout redirects to homepage .

    Please help. Thank you

    Hi @glvd656,

Did you set the “Refresh Activate Page” in the UM Login Form settings or in User Roles > edit a role > Login Options?

    Thanks.

Yes, confirmed. Refresh Activate Page is active on both Login Form Settings and in User Roles – Login Options. But both are not redirecting to last active page as desired.

Dear support, there has been no response to this support request. The Refresh Active Page is still not working as it should.

    Please help urgently. Thank you.

I am having the same issue, and UM support doesn’t seem to be interested in addressing it ??

7 months after being posted and support is still not fixing this issue.

I am also having this issue. Come on support!

    Hello..

I used to have this issue and the problem is that you need to have a / after your login redirect link. For example, you need to set your login redirect link for a specific page to ‘https://mywebsite.com/login/‘ rather than ‘https://mywebsite.com/login‘. If you don’t include the / at the end of the URL, the refresh active page feature won’t work.

Let me know if this solved your issue. (:

Thanks for your advice. I need a little more guidance to use it. My website shows users as logged out even after login. The only way they can see that they are actually logged in is with a forced refresh but of course, users shouldn’t have to force a refresh to see the logged in content. I want the active page to refresh after login. I don’t understand how setting a login redirect link for a specific page corrects the refresh after login issue since I don’t WANT a specific URL to be produced. I just want the site to recognize the login and refresh the active page (without redirect).
