It seems that referer is messed up.
If I put google.com as referer, and blacklist it, I can see ads when I land on my page from google search result, or if I just directly load the page.
But if I whitelist it, I can’t see it at all.
It works exactly the same if I delete google.com as referer. When whitelisted, can’t see ads, when blacklisted, I can.

Make sure caching is disabled when using referers.

Use debugging functions to diagnose referers:

In most cases refrer is www.google.com and not google.com.
    Please check.

Ah, it’s www, bravo. Didn’t crossed my mind that www belongs to a domain.
Wouldn’t be a bad idea to put an example in tooltips, or at least in documentation ??

Is there a way to use wildcards, like asterisk * ? There’s lots of google domains.
I’ve tried www.google.* but it doesn’t work, and it would be amazingly beautiful to include all google domains at once.

Also, I’ve noticed that only first page they visit, is filled with ads, but that is covering barely 1%, is there a way to to show those people ads for the next hour or so?

Wildcards are on the todo list.

Of course, only for the first page is referer google. After when the visitors browses the website it is the actual page (your domain) the referer for the next page.

No such option to delay ads (except in days after publishing) as this wouldn’t work on most pages due to caching.

Setting up a cookie that will expire in 1 hour could do the trick. It could be served only to those who come from referer list, so they can see ads as long as they are on the actual site, not just for single page.

I know it can be extended by adding my own domain, but that way, I am including direct and social media traffic too.
So, there has to be something in the middle, for this function to be really great.

Thanks for the proposals, I’m already considering something like that.
