I’m wondering about referencing page numbers for woocommerce: is it good to google reference them?
because it changes all the time and I have a quantity of 401 page numbers (especially for categories and keywords) that don’t exist anymore (and more news are coming)
and if they are not to be referenced by the engines, how should we have to do?
    Thank you.

    Hi,

I’m not sure to fully understand your question.

Can you share a URL example please?

    Thanks

    ok, exemple
    https://www.artisanathai.com/page/54/
no longer exists (for reformatting the number of products per page)

    https://www.artisanathai.com/categorie-produit/decoration/page/9/

for redistribution of products in other categories

    https://www.artisanathai.com/etiquette-produit/boite-laquee/page/2/ for products sold

    and so on.

I also wonder if it’s not better to make as few “unique” products as possible but a maximum of variable products: I will have less than 404 when products are sold it doesn’t really show? but is it good for SEO? vast question?

    thanks

and i add that the snippet that google proposes for a page /n°/ does not correspond at all because the products move in the pages (addition of new product, sale of others)

You don’t have to worry about paged archive pages.

SEOPress takes care of pointing the canonical url towards the first page.

It’s part of the life of a site to have this kind of pages as well as 404 errors.

Google knows how to manage that.

I’ve resolved to display 100 products per page, to follow your advice about mobiles that have trouble turning pages, and 20 posts on the blog.

Surprisingly, I discovered that it doesn’t change anything on the site’s display speed, but it will have a negative impact on the bounce!

As for the 404 on the number of pages … let’s not even talk about it.

I close this support as resolved.
