In my Google Search Console, I am seeing this error, “Referenced AMP URL is not an AMP” for my page: https://www.onlinerockershub.com/linkedin-strategy-basic-optimization-technique.html/amp

How can I fix this?

@onlinerockers All looks good to me now, your referenced AMP URL is showing as valid.

You can resubmit your site again using the URL inspection tool, hopefully you won’t see the same error. It could have been caused by validation errors, redirection issues or plugin conflicts.

@onlinerockers It’s possible the .html at the end of your URLs could be impacting the reporting of your AMP pages and posts as valid AMP URLs. Are you using a function or plugin to add the .html?

No @jamesosborne I am not using any particular function or plugin to add the .html in my URL. It is associated with a permalink.

I am having a similar problem with https://www.tmtspain.com/es/?amp
it is showing as referenced AMP URL is not AMP
When I look at the “HTML start template part” I see it reads as <html amp . . .
The AMP checker says this should be recognised even though it says ‘amp’ rather than the icon ?
<html ? > . . .
Is this issue down to my PolyLang Pro plugin? Or my AMP plugin?
It does not get rejected by Google Console for the https://www.tmtspain.com/?amp version.
Would appreciate thoughts on this

Hi @westonruter the issue you linked to seems much more complex. (I don’t understand it). I’ve had no problems with PolyLang Pro or home page of Spanish version before and been using both plugins for a long time. TY

@tmtspain I’m not sure. This might be a better question for the Google Search Console support forums.

By the way, I noticed your mobile menu not working on your AMP page. Apparently your theme isn’t AMP-compatibile or at least it doesn’t have fallbacks in place for when JS is turned off. So you may need to switch from Transitional mode to Reader mode.
