Reference uses Post ID – can we change this?

  • We are using DHL Packet for Germany, when we generate a new label the Reference (Referenznr) uses the order ID represented order_22222

    We have a different number associated to each order (invoice number / order number) and wondered if it would be possible to use this as the reference instead of the Post ID?

    You can modify the prefix ‘order_’ using pr_shipping_dhl_paket_label_ref_no_prefix filter

    Thanks @abdalsalaam I want to change the actual number to another value from the order data. Is this possible?

    Can you give me more information on using filters? I’m not sure how/where to use your suggestion.

    unfortunately its not possible, but we will consider this in the future releases
    for now using pr_shipping_dhl_paket_label_ref_no_prefix filter, you can modify only the prefix for example :
    order_22222 can be ANYTHING22222
