…Reference is Deprecate…

  • Hello, I’ve recently started getting the following error message at the top of the browser on several of our blogs. I’m assuming something got updated in cPanel that is now causing this. Anyone know of a fix for this?

    Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/fowlerho/public_html/connect/wp-content/plugins/flickr-gallery/phpFlickr.php on line 375

  • Sounds like your server was recently upgraded and that the flickr-gallery plugin is using outdated code. You can either look for another plugin to replace it or contact your host and ask about surpressing PHP warnings.

    Trying to supress the error warning did not work. Maybe I missed something. I tried error_reporting(0);
