Hello Support, I have WP-Maps free version 4.4.3 installed on my site. It is a great plugin and has been working very well. I do not have any signs of errors on the front end.

I have been troubleshooting a podcast plugin I have installed and I keep seeing a persistent error in Developer Tools on Chrome “Uncaught ReferenceError: google is not defined” It references your file “/wp-content/plugins/wp-google-map-plugin/assets/js/vendor/infobox/infobox.js“. and refers to line 128.

How do I fix this error?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

That error comes when you have not inserted the Google Maps API key in the back-end of the plugin. API key is required for google maps api to work and its the only mandatory step. I hope you have followed the instructions and setup an API key for your website. If you need assistance, check out this https://www.wpmapspro.com/docs/how-to-create-an-api-key/
    Thank You

Thanks for the update. I did have a unique key installed and have had it for quite a while as I have been using this plugin for a few years. The error is no longer present and seems to have been transient or caused by something else. I am closing this ticket now and if it appears again, I will create a new one with more details.
