• This is giving me a hard time…

I’m unable to calculate a total for this table. I get a #REF error, while using defined id’s in the formula.
    The table is here:
    here

I’ve tried everything I can think of.
    (baserate + (instrument * 1.40)) * totalpages
    (baserate + addlines) * totalpages

I created subtotal input fields also with no success.
It seems the parser is REALLY PICKY about the syntax, whether or not there are spaces, etc… and there’s no documentation!

    My field id’s are
    baserate
    instrument
addlines (cost per line * # of additional instruments)
    transcription
    bpm
    timesignature
    mins
    totalpages
    totalbars
    secs
    total

I seem to be able to calculate the number of pages OK. But, I can’t multiply it by the baserate!
And – what is the FACTOR field for in the input options?

    Thanks

I have decided to abandon jazzy forms due to lack of documentation, response and support, and their failure to work in an intuitive fashion. I have switched to Calculated Fields… that’s what’s on the page now, and it’s operational
