  • The next update, v4.1.28, should be available soon. If you need it now, the latest version of Redux is always available in the repo: https://github.com/reduxframework/redux-framework-4

v4.1.29 is now available, it backs out all the PHP 7.4 syntax. FYI, PHP 7.4 is the MINIMUM recommended by WordPress.

This is happening to me currently (2:38pm EST) when updating redux for Cassiepeech.com it says Critical site error. I am on PHP 7.3 as this is the highest I can go on my Managed WordPress by GoDaddy site.

currently on version Version 3.6.15 of Redux plugin, disabling it causes just a blank page (theme was installed by an old web designer many years ago). Any advice? We cannot edit blocks in the theme (javascript:void0) error/nothing happens when we click Delete or Add on blocks.

First, please do not piggy back the ticket’s of others. WordPress support asks you to begin our own as the issues may not be at all related.

Second, I will need to know the actual error. If WordPress is giving you this notice, you should be getting an email to the site’s admin email address regarding the ‘safe mode’ where this information is available (or access the last fatal PHP error from the PHP error logs). ‘Critical error’ is far too broad to even begin to guess, assuming Redux is the issue.

    Thanks!

Whoops, sorry about that @kprovance I had commented on this issue since it matched mine but then tried to delete it (and started my own question;) I couldn’t find a way to delete the original comment here – disregard, thanks.
