• We receive the Redundant purchase events for the purchase pixel event.

    The issue saying
    “Your pixel is reporting four or more purchase events across different pages from a single person in one session. This could mean that your pixel is incorrectly tracking purchase events on pages where purchases can’t be made, which may affect event tracking and ad optimisation, and lead to over-reporting of events.”

    And the solution they said is
    “Select “See affected URLs”. In your website’s source code, check to see whether any of the affected page URLs lead to pages where a purchase can’t be made. Remove any purchase event code snippets from URLs where purchases can’t be made.
    If all of the affected URLs lead to pages where a purchase can be made and your website has been set up so that a single person could make multiple purchases across different URLs in one session, select “Ignore”.”

    What should I do? and how to fix it?

    Hi,

    sorry for the late response on this.

    Try one of these things, until you will discover something:
    1. check that you don’t have any other pixel installed on your website. You can check it through the Pixel Helper extension;
    2. make a test purchase and check that the Purchase event is fired once you complete the purchase on frontend. You can check it always with the Pixel Helper extension;
    3. from the previous attempt, check also that the “Purchase” event is fired only once;
    4. from the previous attempt, check also that the “Purchase” event is not fired again if you refresh the page.
