Redundant column “Type”

Hello,

For all our custom post types, if we go to the post type list page, there is a column called “Type” – this is surely redundant here, as all visible items on the screen will be that post type. There’s the option to hide the column within the Screen Options, but this isn’t satisfactory to hide it from all users. How can we get rid of this column please, it’s a complete waste of space? e.g. this post type, Enrolments:
