Reducing width of sidebar of Twenty-Fiteen theme

(I meant max-width. Fixed. Also tweaked the margin)

where and what to change ?

Make sure that you are NOT modifying any theme files (as your changes will all be lost when WP is updated) – CSS changes can be made by using a child theme or a custom CSS (plugin) – ADD the above code there.

I’ve created child theme, ..selected && working fine..

where to place the code ??

in the child theme style.css file.
