Reducing The Height Of Header

The height of the header can be shrink by reducing the padding of navigation in the theme. This is the code for it:

#site-navigation ul li a {
    padding: 0;
}

If the layout still remain alternate then you may have added additional css or any other factor causing it. So, for that share the site url so we can help you with custom css as per your need.

The code below does not change the top or bottom padding or margin, but I left and right margin or padding works. It seems like the height of the header is fixed.

#site-navigation ul li a {
    padding: 50px 0px 50px 0px
    margin: 50px 0px 50px 0px;
}

Add this:

    padding: 0 30px 0 0;
}
