Hi there! Thank you for opening this thread and bringing up your question! I’m happy to assist you with this.
Our billing system works like this: Each billing day we calculate how many subscribers and non-subscribers you have in your Audience → this puts you in a price tier, which is the fee that we charge.
The thing your contacts’ base increased since you’ve started is a wonderful thing for your business. Since more email credits are required to communicate to your customers, your subscription price has also increased, the more contacts you have, the more emails you need to send, the more credits we grant you.
If you feel a need to reduce the fee, we recommend checking your contacts first and get rid of inactive and old contacts – the ones that are not opening your emails – there is no point to keep them and pay to email them when they do not add any value to your business.
The best way to do this is by segmenting your contacts. Follow these instructions to clean your list: https://support.omnisend.com/en/articles/1061868-segmenting-inactive-contacts
Once you have this done, you should see a decrease in your monthly fee. You may check a new price with our billing calculator?here?(simply type in the number of subscribers that you currently have or will have in the future)
If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let us know, we’re just a message away and always here to help!
