    Hello,

    We migrate from Hostgator to bluehost for a better performance, however since we did about 20 orders the stock was not reduce with the amount in the order, for example product with 2 items after the order it remains 2, another order with 4 items, only 2 were reduced and the other were not. when testing those products the system worked nicely but when reviewing the orders with the problems, i discovered that the order note as well are not reducing anything.

    I checked all the setting reviewed all the products and everything looks fine, even when i test purchasing the same product again it works nicely.

  • Interesting. I’m just curious how the migration was done? with a third-party plugin or built-in migration tool from bluehost? You can do the following if you’ve used the built-in one.

    1. Install All in one wp migration.

    Well, Thats a good question, we started by all in one migration, the data was not accurate at all, then we decided to manually move the incorrect data, overall am sure we have a huge problems with database, for example when someone order am item the order comes with an extra item (totally different) beside the color and size as attached https://snipboard.io/4IyeEw.jpg , the products id and orders id are totally different from the previous site. anyways i fired everyone working on this project and i really apperciate a simple steps guide to how to fix all this, i have some knowledge but not a developer at the end of the day, so easy steps will help alot guys thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the update. Do you still have the access to the previous site? if you do, Let’s zoom out and do the following steps. There are a couple things to get it right. first off, the Inventory has to match. Secondly you should able to see the correct line items/Qty that are associated with each respective orders. Manually altering the database, will make things inconsistent, i wouldn’t recommend to do that.

    1. Get a fresh WordPress installation on your Bluehost end.
    2. Export the entire site once again using “All in one Wp migration”
    3. Import the same on the new Installation at Bluehost.

    Yes i have a access to the site, however we discovered there are 900 maleware because it was a cracked version and most of the plugins as well, so i dont want to move the entire website is possible, i asked the hosting support to backup my database and they did, not sure if that going to help or not ..

    Probably not. I’d still suggest you to clean up all your malware stuff by using plugin like “Wordfence” which will scan your entire website and helps you identify the malware and get rid off them so.

    1. Clean up your site before moving to a new Installation
    2. Avoid using nulled themes/plugins

    I recommend getting help from an expert.
