• Hi, I installed WPMU according to the instructions, but after I installed the GTranslate translation plugin something went wrong, I cannot make changes separately for the subdomain, I can not disable plugins, etc. As if the subdomain does not exist physically, I cannot explain in words what happens in the console. Please watch screens:

    SCREEN 1
So this is the first screenshot, I entered my wordpress console.

    SCREEN 2
This is the second screenshot, I went to my only subdomain in Spanish, pay attention to the link structure in the address bar, the most interesting fact is that we see a large window with statistics. (this plugin with stats DISABLED for the NETWORK subdomain shows me the main domain! but in spanish.

    additional screen
This is the error we get when we try to log into the subdomain console through the administrator account created specifically for the subdomain

    SCREEN 3

Further, when I click on ANY button on the console menu (for example, the “Plugins” button redirects me to this page …. I enter the data and get back to the console …

    What should I do?

(I am using a WPMU generated subdomain, I have not registered the subdomain with the hosting provider)

  • You need to make sure the sub-domain has a DNS record and that sub-domain needs to point to the directory where your WordPress multisite is installed.

WordPress needs to see the proper mapping in the network admin setting, too.
