redirects to semalt

  • I don’t know why… I thought I had a virus and spent the last 8 hours trying to figure out why my website redirected to semalt.com everytime I put in my url [ link redacted, please do not post links in reviews ] I was redirected to semalt.com now this was not the case for other pages on my site, only the home page. Also I was able to access the backend. I give this 1 star because the plugin is supposed to protect your site from being crawled by semalt, instead it brings you right to them. Very disappointed.

    We use a 301 redirect. Any semalt traffic gets redirected back to semalt. The problem with this method is if you have caching enabled, it caches the 301. We are working on a different solution.
