First, thanks for the free plugin!

In settings I have only enabled to redirect to product-categories and brands, though I’m getting some redirects I’m not fully satisfied with, e.g:

    mydomain.com/clothes/men/adidas-clothes
    ->
    mydomain.com/brand/nike-clothes

when there are the following url’s that would make more sense to redirect to:
    mydomain.com/brand/adidas
    mydomain.com/clothes/men/manufacturers/adidas

I’m guessing there is a way to customize the logic in how your plugin selects the url to redirect to. Could you possibly give any hints on how to?

    Hello,

Yeah, as the algorythm is automatic, it’s kind of complicated to be the most accurate on every site configuration. But you can actually use the filters & actions available in the plugins if you want to create custom rules (see documentation).

I could help you to build what you’re looking for, but I’m currently busy with a big update of WP 404 Auto Redirect which will let users fine-tune further more the functionalities of the plugin and push it to it’s boundaries.

When it will be release (in less than a week), I will get back to you to help you build what you need ??

I’m kinda excited about the next release, as it will very much help you on that subject!

    Thanks!

    Regards.

    Hi again!

I just pushed a new update to the plugin! ?? Can you please, update it and try again to reach those URLs?

You can now enable “Redirection log” to see all redirections which are made by the plugin. Or simply enable the Debug Mode for admins.

If the result still don’t match your needs, can you please paste the Debug Mode “Advanced” screen there https://pastebin.com/ and share it with me?

You can hide private datas if you feel so, I just need to see how the plugin’s engines understand your URLs.

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards.
