Redirects are slowing site

    Hi
    I am having some issues with the speed of my site. When I contacted my host, they ran a speedtest and said it was due to the number of redirects it is doing – which they attribute to the redirect to https, which is performed by this plugin.

    Please could you let me know if your plugin should be doing this, and if so, how can I improve the process/ speed?

    Hi,

    your site indeed redirects quite slow, this is usually caused by a slow webserver. You could try to enable the .htaccess redirect option in the Settings->SSL->Settings menu. The .htaccess redirect is the fastest redirect available.
