    I have a question. Like If I have a site old.com and another site new.com Now I have added redirect links from the old site to the new site using the redirection plugin. It was really helpful btw. Thanks to the maker.
    Now what I want to know is Will the redirections still work if I like deactivate the plugin.???
    Or will the redirects still work if my old site is not live anymore???
    Can you please let me know in details.

    No to both questions. You need the plugin running on a live site.

    So is there an alternative to this??? Like doing manually through .htaccess???

    Your old site always needs a working domain name that points at a live server.

    Sure, you can perform your redirect through .htaccess if you wish.

    Yeah I think thats how it works after all…I can only redirect as long as the site is live and also as long as the plugin is active.
