    Hi John,
right now I’m working on the relaunch of my website that includes a few changes in structure. And I’m wondering how to handle these changes and the existing redirects to make it work.
I’m not sure how the entries should be configured, because my relaunch-site with now URL https://www.XY.de will be my live site https://www.AB.de later on.
    For example:
    Existing site:www.AB.de/blog-one
    Relaunch site: https://www.XY.de/category/blog-one
When switched to active the ?old“ relaunch site will be: https://www.AB.de/category/blog-one

How will the source and the target URL look like?

Thank you for your support. Greetings from Germany, Helmut

I’m not entirely sure what question you are asking, but you can create a redirect to match whatever site changes you want to make.

Remember that a redirect occurs from the old URL to the new URL.

Question is, which target-URL I have to use for redirects on the (still hidden) relaunch site: Is it the URL from the relaunch site (www.relaunch.de/XY) or the URL from the future live site (www.active.de/XY)?

It’s whichever site you want the redirect to go to. Your target can be relative so it will be the URL on the site where Redirection is currently running.

Thank you, this is the answer I was looking for.
