I enabled Redis on my website and now keep seeing “Redirection’s database needs to be updated from 2.4 to 4.0.” message even after updating. After I update it goes all the way to 100% and lets me use the plugin but after I exit out I see the message again and have to go through the update step to get back to the Redirection plugin.

Are you using Redis as a cache? That’s probably the cause of the problem and you will need to clear your cache.

    Hello

I just updated the Redirection Plugin successfully to Version 4.1 and hard refreshed the cache. BUT, I am still seeing two different messages alternately:

    1. Redirection Database needs updating.Your current database is version 2.4, the latest is 4.1. Please update to use new features.
Please make a backup of your Redirection data: downloading a backup.

    2. Redirection’s database needs to be updated – click to update.

I’ve updated the plugin, so why am I still getting these messages? I have hard refreshed the cache a few times.

Any progress on this issue? I see others are also experiencing this.

    Thanks

Which other reports are you looking at?

Are you using Dreamhost? Which cache have you cleared?

IT’s a cache issue. I had the same until I deleted cache.
