Redirection to restricted content after regitration

    Hello,

    i am using the free version of your plugin, i have restricted pages that only accessible for logged in users. for non logged in users, redirected to login page. after login they can access the page, its working fine. but for the non registered users, they will click register button in the login form and after registration, they are redirected to profile page instead of the restricted page.

    how this possible? my requirement is after registration users should be redirected the restricted page.

    Please help me ASAP

    This is because your new users are automatically logged in. You need to change the “Registration options” in the user role settings.

    Did you set a “Action to be taken after registration” option to your needed URL? The default redirect is to profile page.

    i dont have the specific url to put there, because when user click on a button it is linked to the page which is restricted to the non logged in users.

    so the non logged in users will redirected to the login page, if they are not registered, they will click on the register button in the login form and register page will loaf, after register , it should be redirected to the restricted page instead of profile page.

    users already registered will be redirected to the restricted content after login ,as you suggested, under user role login option , which is also set to redirect to profile option, but it works fine for the restricted page.

    what need to be done with registration option?

    i checked it with require email activation option, it also redirecting to login page instead of redirecting to restricted page.

    Hi @safnasash

    By default users redirects to the profile page. I don’t know why your users redirects to “restricted page” (if you not set it to redirect options in user role settings).

    Did you add some custom hook “template_redirect” in your functions.php file? Maybe you use some redirects plugins. User should redirects to page from user role settings.
