Redirection to page they were reading isn’t working

    Hi, I have activated your plugin but for some reason it isn’t working for me. I’m using the Clean Login plugin for users to log in/log out. This plugin offers a setting where I can choose the page I want redirection to go to when a “log in” or “log out” occurs; however, I’m not using this option because I don’t have just one page that I need redirection to go to, I need for the redirect to go to the page that the user was currently on before logging in and there are many pages that they could’ve been on before logging in (I have a site where I have several listings of businesses and each business has its own page. On each of the business’s page, there is a link that a user clicks on to “Login to leave a comment.” After a user successfully logs in on the “login” page, I need for the redirection to go back to that business’s page that the user was viewing when they clicked the login link.) So I would love to use your plugin to redirect users to the page that they were on right before they logged in. Can you please tell me what I need to do to make your plugin work for me?

    Hi there,

    For testing purposes, what happens if you deactivate Clean Login and use Sky Login Redirect only ?

    Hey Matt-
    I tried deactivating Clean Login and using just Sky Login Redirect but then it seems that there’s no way for a user to login because if they click on the “login” button that I have in the header or click the “login” link on each of the business pages then [clean-login-edit] is displayed on the page. Your plugin is ideal for me, can your plugin work with a another plugin that used for logging in?
    If so, what should I do so that I can use Clean Login plugin and use Sky Login to make it redirect to the page that they were on before logging in?

    Hi Mo,

    Sorry for the late answer. That’s unlikely because both plugins use the same filter to redirect after login so they will conflict. You should only use one login plugin at a time.

    I am looking for a plugin which will redirect after login to current page.
    This is a little complicated for me because we use 2 other plugins which involve login process. The first is WordFence Security plugin which blocks certain users, locks out users who fail passwords after n number of attempts, etc. The second one is Simple
    Access Control which forces a user to login before accessing certain pages of our website.
    Can you confirm for me whether there would be a conflict if I use Sky Login Redirect with these other two plugins. Thanks, Helen
