    Hi,
I deleted the domain where this url was https://janetngadiuba.netsons.org/
and now, in my new website, which is in a new domain, I use this plugin to redirect the expired url to the error 404, but the redirection seems to have no effect.
    Am I doing somenthing wrong?

The domain https://janetngadiuba.netsons.org/ does not seem to exist?

yes, It doesn’t exist anymore, but Google has chosen it as canonical URL and they told me to put a 404 error for this page to prevent googlebot from scan it. And that’s what I’m trying to do with your plugin, but it doesn’t work.

The plugin is installed in the existing page is https://www.janetngadiuba.it

The domain will need to exist and be under your control. It is impossible to redirect something that doesn’t exist (either with Redirection or with any other method).

Ok, that was my first guess. So it’s impossible for me to prevent googlebot to scan an expired a domain, even with a redirection (which I can’t apply, as I can understand)

Yes, a redirect can only work on a valid domain that you control. Otherwise it would be possible for people to create redirects for domains that don’t exist or they don’t control.
