Redirection of front page in multi language site

    I use polylang plugin and have five language partitions. After installing wordfence the home page (english) keeps re-directing to russian on all tablets and laptops. I have cleared browsing history, checked on various browsers, reinstalled previous htaccess file, re created the home page with language partitions and pointed the front page to the new english home page – but still if I type in the url it reverts to the url/ru but only on the home page.

    Did you try to deactivate Wordfence -temporarily- and re-check this issue? also, try posting about this issue on “Polylang” support forums, I’ve seen a couple of homepage redirection issues there in the past.

    I use Polylang with Wordfence on a couple of client sites. They do work very well together.

    Have you tried re-saving your WordPress permalinks after enabling Wordfence?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your responses. I tried everything from disabling all plugins and re-enabling them. Updating permalinks, trying to force a re-direct. In the end it was a caching problem with the host server. So resolved the issue with them.
