    Hello,

    After allowing everything from Google, in the end, the redirection is taking me back to the homepage. The URL has information about client id etc, but it doesn’t work. I visited the Site Kit dashboard and it says Start Setup again. I tried to authenticate with all my plugins disabled and nothing happened. I also tried on a private session. What is going on?

    @developit Thanks for reporting. There have been reports previously of users being redirected, and in many cases it’s been as a result of browser extensions or caching issues. Can you attempt to install again via a browser incognito window, and maybe also some of your caching plugins temporarily deactivated. Let me know if you have any security plugins active also.

    @jamesosborne Thank you for the answer, but as I said, I already tried to do that without any plugins except Site Kit enabled. I tried via a browser incognito mode, but still no results.

    @developit Do you have the ModSecurity enabled at host level? You can ask your web host if you are not sure. If so you can temporarily deactivate during setup, or ask your web host. It’s sometimes possible to disable using your .htaccess file also, but check with your web host.

    @jamesosborne I disabled it and now it says “Invalid state”. What else can I do?

    @developit If you’ve disabled ModSecurity can you try resetting Site Kit and starting the process again, with caching and security plugins temporarily deactivated?

    @jamesosborne Oops. I forgot to disable the caching plugin. It works fine now! Thank you!
