I am using the redirection plugin to redirect my entire wp site to a google site while it is under construction, but the plugin stopped working today. The redirection plugin redirects my website even if it is turned off or disabled and I can’t see the original webpage.

The site is nearly completed so I need to turn off the redirection.

I have tried also to deactivate and eliminate the plugin but the problem was not solved.

Thank you for your question @pbuosi. If there are still redirects happening after you disabled our plugin, then they must come from somewhere else (if our plugin is disabled, it doesn’t have any control over your site anymore). Can you think of other places where you set redirects? Or maybe it’s cache?

Hi, I think the problem was the browser cache. Now that I have reinstalled the plugin it gives me problems with elementor: when the redirection plugin is active, I cannot open the elementor editing window

    Hello @pbuosi ,

Please clear the website cache as well as the browser cache if you can. It should resolve the issue that is probably just local.

Let us know if that worked.

    Kind regards

    Hi,
I have already tried your suggestions, without success. I also tried with another pc. The problem seems to be the plugin itself. I recently updated to the latest elementor version, probably the two plugins are no longer compatible?

    Hi @pbuosi

Could you please provide me your website URL?

    Thank you!

https://www.ctscyl.com, but it is redirected now. I deactivate it only when I edit (beacause of this problem)

    Hi @pbuosi

The solution to your issue may be to set redirection of type 307 which is temporary redirection that should not be cached by your browser.

By default our plugin applied 301 redirection which forces the plugin to cache it and even if you change the redirection your browser won’t even request new details from your server / our plugin.

Please try to change the redirection to 307 and clear cache of your browser.

You can also verify latest states of the redirection at wheregoes.com

    Hi,

I tried you suggestions. Problem not resolved. I also tried to edit the website using a stealth mode chrome page, but nothing. I can edit only by deactivating the redirection plugin. I have used that plugin for one month and I never had problems…

    Hi @pbuosi

I also tried to access this URL:
    https://www.ctscyl.com/?redirect-plugin=disable_all_redirects

Which seem to work properly for me without any cache, the redirection seem to be 307 right now.

Maybe that will do the trick for you?

    Hi

I have solved the redirection problems, but for a week now I cannot edit my site if it is redirected. So in order to edit my site, that is still under construction, I have to make it visible to everyone. Until a week ago this did not happen.
