I have a wordpress installation up and running on a subdomain (“old”) of my server.
I tried to install a second different wordpress website on the same server, on a different subdomain (“new”) but I mistakenly used the database credentials from the already running wordpress website (huge mistake of mine, I actually wanted a seperate installation with a seperate MySQL database). The wordpress installer informed me that a wordpress installation already exists and that I should delete that first.
At that point I realised my mistake and closed the window.

Now, when I navigate the “new” subdomain it automatically redirects me to the old subdomain. I deleted all wordpress files, thinking there might be a configuration written somewhere, I even deleted and re-created the subdomain – it still redirects to the “old” subdomain.

Any clues what might be happening?

    Thanks!
