Redirecting URL with symbol

I created a page that had an @ in the title, which got incorporated into the slug. I have changed the slug, and I need to redirect the old slug to the new slug, but I cannot add the @ symbol to “redirect from” field. It strips it out as soon as I submit the form. How do I fix this?
