Please check the Express Checkout settings to see if the option to “Use WordPress Locale Code” is enabled or not..?? If so, try disabling it and see if that helps.

Sorry but this isn’t working. I’ve disabled the option “Use WordPress Locale”, cleaned my browser and try to place an order. Still showing French with Paypal express and standart Paypal

That’s odd because the Locale Code option is the only we can pass a language into the Express Checkout flow. Without it, it should just fall to the default language.

Is your PayPal account a US based account? Do you have any translation plugins installed on your site? Do you have logging enabled in the plugin settings? Can you provide a copy of the log file so I can review the Express Checkout API requests?

In addition to andrews point. After making changes in the settings did you cleared brower cache before testing? If not ; can you clear all plugin and browser caches (CDN if active) and then see if that make it work…

After trying to deactivate the plugins one by one I found that the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin is the one that makes the problem. Wil try to contact them

Thank you for all your help!

Interesting. That’s an odd plugin to cause that sort of an issue. Let me know what you find out. Thanks!

I really have no idea how it makes that happened.
I simply disabled one plugin at a time, clear the browser, and try to pay with Paypal express.
Once “Facebook for WooCommerce” plugin disabled Paypal was in English again.

We’ll see if we can reproduce this and if there’s anything we can adjust to resolve it on our end we’ll do so in a future update. Thanks for the feedback!

@logodesignonline , Okay that’s really odd, did you report this to their developers already? what did they say about it? That’s odd to me that how it’s interacting with the checkout process and altering the process information. Please check with them and let me know what they say in return. If they send you back to us we will definitely gonna take another look at this. Let me know what you got Thanks

Yes, I send an email first to Paypal that recommend to email Woocomerance, so I did. Woo refer me to Facebook so I deliver the email to them as well but haven’t heard back.

I also don’t see how it can change the Paypal link redirecting to the wrong language … It should be a code that related to Woocommerce?.

@logodesignonline, It looks like they might be using some WOO hooks to play around. They would be the best to answer this. As such, I m going to go ahead and close this thread but feel free to respond here again if you will have any update from that plugin developer which might need our attention.
    Cheers
