• Hi!
First of all, it’s not exactly WordPress related. But half of my websites are based on WP and I can’t think of a better place to ask for help.

I’m having trouble redirecting a subdomain of mine to a longer URL. Trying to do it in my htaccess file but none of the variants I’ve tried works..

    My htaccess goes like this:

#—- Added by suresupport.com, please don’t remove this block —-
    BrowserMatch “^Mozilla\/4\.0$” badBot
    BrowserMatch “^-$” badBot
    Deny from env=badBot
    # —- end of suresupport.com code ———————————

  • Hello.

If you want a permanent redirect (301) you can try adding this to the TOP of your .htaccess file:

    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^blablabla.erpmusic.com [NC,OR]
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.blablabla.erpmusic.com [NC]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.asdasd.com/tatatata.php?id=1 [L,R=301,NC]

Obviously I used your example URLs for this, so just replace with the actual URLs and see how that works.

For future reference you might want to ask questions related to an actual WordPress site rather than a Joomla site. Just a suggestion.

    Thank you.
