Hi we would like to redirect a domain to a single page on another domain but have a different redirect for the blog of the domain being redirected to another page on the other domain. so…

    olddomain.com redirected to newdomain.com

    olddomain.com/blog/popularpost redirected to newdomain.com/blogpost

in my head the first redirect is going to make every call to olddomain.com send to newdomain.com regardless of sub page links. its a catch all redirect.

we want to send sub page traffic from the blog to the new domain blog posts. those are popular posts that we want to link back too.

    any help?

I will reply to your email. Creating duplicate reports just slows things down.

Sure, and I answered by email as that’s where you started the conversation.

    Hi,

I have the same question. I want to redirect the homepage to new domain, And also the subpages to other urls.
    How can I do this?
If I redirect the homepage, it does a catch all for other subpages. I don’t want that.

    Help would be nice ??

    Thanks

I don’t think it is the same question.

If you have just emailed me the same question then, as mentioned above, please only request support in one place.

The homepage is /. You can redirect that without affecting anything else.
