• Hello,

I looked at various redirection forum threads, but could not very well understand the exact scenario I am looking forward to.

I have an existing blog installed in the root directory. At present root domain leads to the page displaying various posts.

I have done and another wordpress install in a subdirectory. This is because I want to use WP PROFIT BUILDER plugin to create various landing pages. I did not want to mess with my existing install in the root directory by adding one more big plugin. So I did a separate install in a subdirectory, added WP PROFIT BUILDER plugin, and I am now creating various landing pages.

So, if my root domain is: https://www.example.com; I have WP PROFIT BUILDER installed in subdirectory like: https://www.example.com/profitbuilder/

WP PROFIT BUILDER also comes with various HOME pages templates. I am planning to create one for my site. And as this is in the subdirectory, the home page will also be created in the subdirectory wordpress install. e.g.: https://www.example.com/profitbuilder/home.php

I want to redirect my root domain to this page (HOME page created in a subdirectory using WP PROFIT BUILDER).
    that is – https://www.example.com to https://www.example.com/profitbuilder/home.php

    Questions:
    1. Can I do this using Redirection plugin in the wordpress installed in the root directory?
    2. If I do that, will that affect my SEO any way?
