redirecting FAQ to non FAQ

We have some content that was originally written as an FAQ but we decided to expand on it and make it into a full blog post.

We’d like to redirect the original FAQ to the blog post, but we’re running into issues with WordPress telling us that the original slug is still being used even though we renamed the original post in order to free up the slug for redirection.

We don’t have this issue with non-CM FAQ content. Can you help us figure out how to do it?
